Yin and Yang Exchange

STDs are Not the Only one sexually transmitted.

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are infections that become transmitted between sexual partners. Over 50 different sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) can be passed from one person to another through sexual contact. Some STDs, such as HIV and AIDS, are serious illnesses that can cause death if not treated. Others, such as Chlamydia, are less severe and may simply require antibiotics to cure. But no matter how mild or severe an STD is, the fact remains that it can be passed from one person to another through sexual contact.

In east Asian medicine, STDs are not the only sexually transmitted between partners through sexual intercourse. Internal diseases can pass on between partners as well.

Yin Yang Exchange

Line 408 in Shang Han Lun discusses Yin Yang Exchange:

Cold Damage Yin Yang Exchange indicates that the patient has heaviness, weakness, tightness in the lower abdomen, tightness in the genital area, heat surging up to the chest, no desire to lift up the head due to heaviness, eye floaters, cramps in the calf. Shao Kun San treats this.

According to the commentary by professor Liu Du Zhou in China, sexual intercourse in the state of qi and blood deficiency causes the transmission of internal diseases between partners. Transmission from the man to the woman is Yang Exchange. Transmission from the woman to the man is Yin Exchange.

Abstinence from sexual activity

Dr. Liu emphasizes that people should abstain from sexual activity until they fully recover qi and blood after diseases. He said that another doctor in China treated seven cases of the disease.

The disease’s main symptom is that the patient does not want to lift his head since it feels too heavy. Another symptom is tension in the lower abdomen. The patient feels a tight sensation up to the genital area.

You must cultivate a sound mind and body to protect your partner.
