Scarring moxibustion on Front-mu and Back-shu points

Front-Mu and back-shu points are located close to the relevant organs.  It is easy to imagine that they can influence the functions of the relevant organs.  Applying scarring moxibustion on front-mu and back-shu points will make a big difference.  Dr Kim (Gudang) uses different front-mu points from traditional front-mu points. All the front-mu points that he uses during his practice are as follows:

  • Stomach – Ren 12
  • Pancreas – ST 21 (Left)
  • Spleen – LV 14 (Left)
  • Gall bladder – ST 21 (Right)
  • Liver – ST 19 (Right) and LV 14 (Right)
  • Large Intestine – ST 25
  • Small Intestine – Ren 4
  • Ovaries – ST 27
  • Bladder – Ren 3
  • Kidney – Ren 6, Ren 4, ST 25, or BL 52

He also makes sure of choosing  points that show responses around the points.  The combination of front-mu and back-shu points will bring earlier relief of any disorders.
